What should I wear?

Answer

Formal Attire. Muted tones preferred, any colors or patterns. Creams, whites, greys, and black are acceptable. Feel free to reach out to David or Fernando if you have questions. The weather in Guadalajara during this time of year is usually pretty warm and the venue is indoors, so extra layers are not necessary.

Answer

Vestimenta formal. Se prefieren tonos suaves, cualquier color o estampado. Se aceptan colores cremas, blancos, grises y negros. Si tienes alguna pregunta, no dudes en contactar David o Fernando. El clima en Guadalajara durante esta época del año suele ser bastante cálido y el lugar es interior, así que no es necesario llevar capas adicionales.

As much as we would love to have everyone, please only bring those addressed on your invitation. If you have a question about this, feel free to contact either of us.

Answer

We love the children of all of our friends and family, but we have decided to have a child free wedding. It will be a long night and we want you to enjoy yourself. In fairness to all of our guests we will not be making any exceptions to this decision. Please reach out to either of us if you would like to discuss further.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 6:00pm. Arriving 15-30 minutes early will give you plenty of time to get situated.

What's the best way to get to the venue?

Answer

We recommend taking Uber to and from the venue, in Guadalajara it is reliable and cost effective. Please take travel time into consideration, Guadalajara is a big city and traffic can be heavy at times.

Recomendamos usar Uber para llegar y regresar del lugar. En Guadalajara, es una opción confiable y económica. Por favor, ten en cuenta el tiempo de viaje, ya que Guadalajara es una ciudad grande y el tráfico puede ser pesado en ocasiones.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

There is no onsite parking at the venue, however, there are several valet parking garages in the immediate vicinity. We do recommend taking Uber to and from the wedding for your convenience and enjoyment, though.

Can I take pictures/videos?

Answer

We are happy for you to take pictures or videos during the ceremony and the reception. We only ask that if you do, to please be discreet during the ceremony so that our photographer and videographer can do their work effectively. You are also free to post to social media and tag us if you wish.

What time will the reception end?

Answer

While we certainly don't expect everyone to stay into the wee hours, Mexican weddings tend to be all-night affairs. If you're up for it, expect to be dancing until at least 3:00 AM.
