We are setting sail for a lifetime together

In the summer of 2021, Calli and David were working as lifeguards, with Calli as the supervisor, even though David would never admit it, hehe. Calli needed a shift covered and texted David asking if he could cover it. He was unable to, but kept texting Calli and took her on several dates before formally asking her to be his girlfriend on August 30th. It happened to be the night before Calli had to leave for UC Irvine and before David had to leave to Oregon State. They decided to give long distance a try (couldn't be the that hard right?) It was that hard... For 2 years, Calli and David dealt with distance, health, and the Navy while they finished undergrad. When David graduated from Oregon State in 2024, he was sent to the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey where Calli happened to completing her Masters in Social Work. The move was a very welcoming surprise to the couple, after David moved to Monterey he knew that Calli was the one and began searching for the perfect moment and ring. On February 26th, 2025, David blindfolded Calli and took her to a beach, and dropped down on one knee in the sand (which he hates) to propose to Calli, who, for once, was speechless. We do not know what lies ahead, but are excited begin their lives together moving around the world. Thank you for being a part of our lives and we look forward to celebrating with you all!
