What should I wear?

Answer

We are having our ceremony on the beach with an outdoor reception to follow, so nothing too formal!

What arrangements are there for hotel stay?

Answer

We have 10 rooms blocked off at the resort that require a minimum of a 2 night stay (10/14 & 10/15). Once the ten are booked, we cannot guarantee rooms for everyone. There are many hotels nearby as well. Please see the Travel tab for more information (like the addresses).

Can I bring a guest?

Due to size constraints, please only bring yourself and whoever is listed on your invitation.

Is there a rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Yes. Our rehearsal dinner is going to be held at the Palm Court restaurant at the Tradewinds Resort on Thursday the 14th at 6:00PM. We'll be covering all the succeeding days details. We will only be having the wedding party and their guests attend.

Do we bring gifts?

Answer

It's preferable not to, since this is a destination wedding and we will be traveling to our honeymoon the day after. However, envelopes and cards are fine! Please send any physical gifts to: 1419 Bigelow Commons, Enfield CT 06082.

Once we check in and are situated in our room, where do we go for the ceremony?

Answer

Whether you're checking in at TradeWinds or off-site, please follow below directions to get to the ceremony location: From the main lobby, head west into the main courtyard area. From there head southwest towards the dog park and follow the path to the beach. Our reception area will be on the left (South Lawn), and the ceremony is beach adjacent (South Beach)

What is to be expected for food and beverage?

Answer

The venue is providing rotating hors d'oeuvres and crudites during the cocktail hour. For dinner, we have a four course buffet lined up with options for most appetites. We were also gifted an open bar for the evening.
