This is our favorite town to walk around! There are tons of shops/restaurants, and you can walk down to the water. Many of the beaches require a resident parking pass to park at the beach. Below is a list of public beaches where you can pay for parking or uber/cab to. Some of the local hotels and airbnbs provide parking passes or shuttles to the beach so be sure to ask where you are staying. East Hampton Main Beach, 104 Ocean Ave East Hampton Mecox Beach, Jobs Lane, Bridgehampton Sagg Main Beach, 1152 Sagg Main St, Sagaponack, NY Cooper's Beach, 268 Meadow Lane, Southampton
Public Courses: Montauk Downs: Matt has lost lots of golf balls here! 18 hole public course. This is a favorite. It books up in seconds. Poxabogue: Quick 9 hole par 3 course. The restaurant on the course has great brunch. Sag Harbor: 9 hole public course. Not as well kept as the other two.
Great for a quick lunch in Amagansett Square (pick it up and eat outside)
For the kids (or big kids) - mini golf, arcade, bowling lanes, indoor/outdoor bar and food.
