Our history actually goes back a few years… On a rainy October 2021 Sunday, Al tagged along with our friends Lew and Meg for a football Sunday, however as fate would have it Al ended up being the fifth wheel. Libations were had, football was watched (much to Amanda's dismay) , and a tour around Asbury was in full effect. Our paths would end up crossing various times after that, whether it was a night out, or Amanda tagging along with Meg to Lew’s house where he was living with Al. There was just always something about Amanda that caught Al’s eye, she had an infectious personality, was outgoing, always brought the vibe up and was just down for a good time. Fast forward a few years, fate would bring us back together. After an innocent reply to an Instagram story that was celebrating Meghall's birthday posted by Amanda, a correspondence was born. This chat went from banter back and forth, to more serious conversations about each others interests, goals in life, expectations for the future, so on. After countless days of trying to line schedules up and do something together, paths would cross on a Sunday night at the Parker house (shocker). As the night was ending, Amanda and co were hopping in a Wally's cab to head to D’jais, (arguably Al’s least favorite place). A pep talk from Lew which equated to “you better get in that cab” and sure enough Al was on the way with Amanda and the night turned into the start of a beautiful relationship. Amanda ended up bringing Al to his house, sealing the night with a kiss (she made the first move) and she then asked Al, if he “wanted her number or what...” A first date down to Seaside park for dinner and drinks, turned to driving on the beach and checking out a full moon at Barnegat light. The rest is history. Every day feels like that first date, and here we are now, getting ready to tie the knot and bring everything full circle. Fate has a funny way of bringing people together. Fifth wheeling a football Sunday in 2021 has led to a loving relationship bringing two people together. Our friends and family always told us “your person is out there” who would have thought we’d met so many times before. There's always been an invisible string tying us together...
