Are children invited?

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire is requested. Our ceremony and reception will be outdoors, don't forget your jackets! And don't ask TikTok if your outfit is Cocktail, they will probably get it wrong.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Mid-May in Arnold is typically mild and pleasant, with daytime temperatures in the 60s–70s and cooler evenings. We recommend bringing a light jacket for after sunset. But honestly, check the weather a couple weeks beforehand... The weather this year has not been typical.

Do I need to pay for park entry?

Answer

No. We will be covering the park entrance fee for all wedding guests.

Is there cell service at the venue?

Answer

Cell service can be limited in the mountain areas and inside the state park. We recommend downloading directions ahead of time.

Where will the ceremony and reception take place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place in Arnold, California. The ceremony will be held at Calaveras Big Trees State Park, followed by the reception down the road at Black Bear Inn.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least 15–30 minutes before the ceremony to allow time for parking and walking to the ceremony site.

Do I need a rental car?

Answer

If you’re flying in, we recommend renting a car to easily reach Arnold and get around the area.

Answer
