Question

Is there parking near the hotel?

Answer

Yes. There is a parking garage attached to the hotel. Simply drive in to the parking garage, collect a ticket, and find a parking spot. You can access the hotel from any of the garage levels.

Will there be vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free items available during the dinner service?

Answer

Yes. A menu will be designed for the dinner that is sensitive to a range of dietary restrictions.

Are children welcome at the ceremony/event?

Answer

Yes. Absolutely. Bring the kiddos!

Is formal attire required?

Answer

Absolutely not. Tom and I will be dressed a smidge more formal however there's no expectation that anyone else will. Please be comfortable. That's more important to us than anything else.

Are all the rooms at the Doubletree suites?

Answer

Yes. That's one of the many things Tom and I love about the hotel. All rooms are suites. Each has a living room and a separate bedroom. Some bedrooms have a king bed. Other have two queen beds. And all living rooms have a pull-out queen sofa.

Will the ceremony, reception, dinner, dancing all be at the same location?

Answer

Yes. We're happy to say that all activities are under one roof. And weather permitting the cocktail reception will be on the roof (not the ceremony or dinner)!

Are the suites set aside for 6/6/26 discounted?

Answer

Yes. As long as you reserve a suite by 5/5/26, the suites are discounted below the "rack rate".

Is there a gift registry?

Answer

No. We don't need a thing. There is no gift registry.

What time does everything start on 6/6/26?

Answer

Our ceremony begins at 4:30pm, in the Roosevelt Room, on the 2nd floor of the hotel. It is accessible by stairs, escalator and elevators. If you are staying overnight, please do your best to check in before the ceremony. And a cocktail reception, then dinner, then dancing follows the ceremony. The evening will end around 11:30pm.

Do I need a raincoat or umbrella for any activities?

Answer

No. We're planning to be on the rooftop for the cocktail reception. However, if weather does not cooperate, there is a beautiful space next to the Roosevelt where we'll host the cocktail reception.

Is there a rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Technically, no. We're trying to avoid making things complicated. And we have a great Officiant and Wedding Coordinator so we're in very good hands with planning.

Is there a wedding party (best man, groomsman, etc) ?

Answer

There is not. Just the grooms!

Question

Is parking discounted at the hotel?

Answer

Yes. Be sure to take a ticket when you enter the parking garage. Whether you are staying overnight or just staying attending the ceremony/dinner/dancing, the parking is discounted.

I have heard about Doubletree chocolate chip cookies. Are they a thing?

Answer

Yes. They are delicious! Warm chocolate cookies will be available at the front desk if you check in to a suite. And we'll have cookies available during the evening too. Please note that Doubletree cookies contain walnuts. Ask about the ingredients if you have dietary concerns.

Will breakfast be available the morning of 6/7/26?

Answer

Yes. Whether you're staying at the hotel the night of 6/6/26, or not, we're hosting breakfast at the "Boathouse" in the hotel, starting around 9:00am. Feel free to stop by for a bite or just a coffee. We'll be in the Boathouse until approx 11:00am.
