Shelly's story: We met the first time while bonding over two of our favorite hobbies - football and beer. We were at a bar near our apartment (little did we know we already basically lived on the same street), and Dave came to defend my honor when a friend of ours (Brian) drank my beer as a joke. Later that night while laughing over the stolen beer incident and walking home together from the bar, I asked Dave out for a burrito, and we haven't looked back since! Dave's story: Well I do remember the beer incident, but what I remember more is that shortly into our dating, we were discussing the Cub's playoff run, and I mentioned to Shelly that I had never been to a game but always wanted to. Well next thing I knew we were in an Uber going to a playoffs game with tickets that Shelly had bought. I knew immediately this was the girl for me!
