What does “open-house style mean”?

Answer

We won’t be following a standard/set schedule*, and instead invite people to come when they want, for however long they want, and we will have food and beverages aplenty! *the exception to this being that Dave and Sarah will sit down to eat at 6:00, and open the floor for anyone who would like to (briefly 🤞🏼) speak

Can my kids come?

Answer

We want you to come, so if you need to bring your kids, please do! Elizabeth and John will go home around 7:00pm, if that’s helpful for planning!

What does “Following a private ceremony” mean?

Answer

We decided for the ceremony to be more intimate. As you know we have been together on this journey for some time, and felt it right to keep the nuptials more cozy. That said, we can’t imagine our day without all of you, and can’t wait to celebrate our love with good food, laughs and amazing people!

8:00pm sounds early, anything going on later?

Answer

We plan to “retire” to Saint Paul and are staying on West 7th near the Xcel Energy Center. We plan to go out for a bit in that vicinity after the wedding!
