So we live in Guilford, VT, but there are maybe 4 businesses in Guilford. Brattleboro is where everyone goes. Downtown (ok, it's basically just Main St, but it's cute!) is full of art galleries, funky shops, and historical what-not. Definitely worth a walk through.
This one is our favorite downtown gallery, but check them all out and let us know if you agree!
This is a favorite. If you aren't afraid of being buzzed by butterflies, this is a must-see. Morning is when the butterflies tend to be most active, but it's a winner any time. It's located about 30 minutes south of Brattleboro, but a really cool place.
We love the orchards around us. We are getting hitched at a different one, but Green Mountain Orchard is an awesome place just to wander. Too bad we aren't getting hitched in September- there's nothing like picking a bag full of great big honeycrisp apples as you wander through the trees. Maybe something else will be ready to be picked in June!
Keene is about 30 minutes from Brattleboro. It has a charming downtown and is more of a city than a town, so it has real box stores like Target and Home Depot! Just in case you are hankering for that city-livin.
You go in the door, then proceed underground. But it's more spacious than you would think! Fancy a drink?
Rachel used to be on the board at VCP- it's a lovely photo gallery with store full of vintage photo gear. Stop in and say hi to Josh!
