When should I RSVP by?

Answer

You should RSVP by August 12, 2026. If we do not receive your RSVP by the date, it will be marked as “No”. We will miss you celebrating with us, however, we have to provide a total guest count to the venue & vendors in a timely manner. Thank you for understanding.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm. Please arrive at least 15 to 30 minutes prior to the ceremony to give yourself plenty of time to park, mingle, take in the beautiful surroundings, and find a good seat. Guest who have arrived by the start of the ceremony will not be permitted to enter the venue until after the conclusion of the ceremony. We appreciate your understanding in ensuring our special moment is uninterrupted.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We are requesting formal dress code for the evening. For men, this means suits, or button down shirts and dress pants with a tie or bow tie. For women, floor length gowns, elegant cocktail dresses, or dressy jumpsuits are appropriate. We encourage everyone to dress to impress while keeping in mind the venue and weather. Kindly leave the jeans at home. Women, please refrain from wearing white or shades of white.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your invitation will be made out to “Your Name” and “Guest”, if a plus one has been given to you. We, unfortunately, cannot accommodate additional guests.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. This rule excludes the little ones in our bridal party and a few little members of our immediate family. We hope you’ll take this opportunity to enjoy a date night and we appreciate you making prior arrangements.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes. A block of rooms has been held at the Courtyard Long Island MacArthur Airport, 5000 Express Drive South, Ronkonkoma NY 11779. Please make your reservation by August 12, 2026 and mention Taylor McLean Wedding when booking.

Where should I sit?

Answer

The first two rows of seats at the ceremony will be reserved for immediate family but all others are open seating. There will be designated seating for the reception and will have a seating chart up on the big day to direct you to your seat!

What time does the reception end?

Answer

We will be making our exit at 11:00 pm and our vendors will promptly begin breaking down at that time.

Is the ceremony indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside, weather permitting. The reception will be indoor.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Of course! We ask that all guests please drink responsibly and do not drive if you plan on drinking. Please make arrangements for a safe ride home. We can’t wait to celebrate accordingly!

What are the addresses of the wedding ceremony and reception venue? Are they wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception are taking place at the same venue The Meadow Club at 1147 NY-112, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. Once you arrive, you’ll see signage directing you to the ceremony area. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

Is there parking available near the wedding venue?

Answer

There is free on-site parking.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel(s) for the wedding and/or prewedding events?

Answer

We will not be providing guest transportation throughout the wedding weekend.

What should I do if I don’t make it into the room block?

Answer

If you miss the deadline to reserve a room in our block, reach out to the hotel and mention our wedding anyway-they may be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our black. If not, you can find additional nearby accommodations on our travel page.

What’s the best airport to use?

Answer

JFK, La Guardia or MacArthur Airport.

What type of food will be served at the wedding?

Answer

We’ll be serving appetizers at cocktail hour, followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entrée. There will be a meat, fish, and gluten-free/nut-free/vegan option available.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

We plan on having an entrée choice that’s vegan, gluten, and nut free to accommodate guest with dietary restrictions. Our cocktail hour appetizers will also have multiple allergy friendly options. If you have additional restrictions, please let us know in the designated section of your digital RSVP. We want you to feel comfortable and well fed.

Where should we bring/send wedding gifts?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can consider donating to our home fund. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

What’s the wedding itinerary?

Answer

Our wedding will take place at The Meadow Club on 10.02.2026. The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm, followed by cocktail hour and the reception (which is anticipated to wrap around 11:00pm).

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

A 60-minute cocktail hour will take place after the ceremony. In the patio area where you can enjoy cocktails, mocktails, appetizers and lawn games.

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

We have no events planned.

Am I allowed to take phots at the wedding?

Answer

If you want to take photos, do it discreetly from your seat and ensure you do not disrupt the flow of the day or stand in front of or get in the way of the hired photographer and videographer.

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Please respect our privacy and don’t share photos of our wedding on social media, until we’ve shared our own photos first.
