We are so excited to have a small and intimate ceremony on top of our favorite mountain, Mt. Baldy. We understand the time and cost involved with traveling to California, so we will be having a formal reception in Ohio later in the summer of 2027. We will update this site as we get closer to the date! Our venue is non-traditional and has a few logistics to consider: Attending the ceremony requires driving up the mountain road and then taking a serene 18-minute ski lift up to the top (7,800ft elevation). The lift can rock with the wind and is a bit steep towards the top. There is a shuttle for those unable to take the lift but the space is extremely limited, so please keep in mind that riding the lift may be the only option! Any guests must be at least 40 inches tall to ride the lift. There are limited cabins for rent on the mountain, so we recommend booking one as soon as reservations open a year in advance. There are hotel options in Claremont, which is about 20 minutes from the venue.
