Cutler Coast Public Reserved Land
Beautiful walking trails with views of Cutler Cliffs. This is one of our favorite places! There is limited cell service in the area so plan accordingly.
Shackford Head State Park
Trails afford great opportunities for wildlife watching and dramatic ocean views. Encompassing 90 acres on Moose Island overlooking Cobscook Bay, visitors can see Campobello Island in New Brunswick, Canada, Lubec Harbor and Estes Head, the easternmost commercial deep water cargo port in the U.S.
Mackerel Fishing off the Pier
Some of the best mackerel fishing and a perfect place to have a coffee or hot dog from Rosie’s and see the fishing traffic. If you need a smoked mackerel recipe, David’s dad Dennis is the master!
West Quoddy Head Lighthouse
This is about 30 minutes from Eastport. A beautiful light house with really fun walking trails. Also one of our favs :)
Campobello Island
If you have your passport, Campobello Island is definitely worth checking out! You may even see a puffin! Campobello Island is widely regarded as the most picturesque of all the islands off of the coast of Maine, and perhaps all of New England. The island is unique in that it co-hosts the only U.S. International Park in the world with one other country. Campobello Island is actually in New Brunswick, Canada – only a few miles from Lubec and Eastport, ME. This is the northern border of what is often referred to as “Downeast” and is in the center an area known as the Quoddy Loop
Roque Bluffs State Park
A beautiful setting with an oceanfront sand beach, 60-acre stocked freshwater pond and three miles of hiking trails. About an hour from Eastport.

I LOVE this place! A little corner store with specialty wine/ local snacks. Lots of unique stuff to check out and very much a hidden treasure! It's right in Quoddy Village near our wedding venue so I definitely suggest stopping in for some treats and a souvenir!
