Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Lindsey Riggins and Dave Divinsky
This will be our 4th time visiting Jamaica and staying at Iberostar. It is an all inclusive resort with multiple different restaurants and buffets. There are plenty of activities both on and off- resort and we have explored a little of both. If you're simply looking for a couple relaxing pool/beach days with no schedule - there is no better place. If getting out and exploring is more your style, these are just a couple of the things we have tried so far - and it is only scratching the surface of our Jamaican Bucket List.
Martha Brae River

Martha Brae River

Trelawny Parish, Jamaica

After a little early-morning coffee and breakfast, hop in a cab service and take a short drive to Martha Brae River. Enjoy peaceful tranquility as you are rowed down the river on bamboo rafts with a love seat. Stop at a few huts with goodies, fresh coconut and Red Stripe.

Dunn's River Falls & Park

Dunn's River Falls is a great full-day trip. A small hike leads you to the fresh water river as you slide down mini waterfalls and jump off rocks into crisp, cool water.

Negril

Negril

Negril, Westmoreland Parish, Jamaica

Negril is usually a full day trip, where you can explore something different every time. 7 mile beach is absolutely beautiful. You can grab beach-side lunch, go shopping or walk the length the beach. Rick's Cafè features one of the most premier cliff diving spots in Jamaica. The Love Nest is a few minutes from here, and a great spot to enjoy a few casual drinks and watch the sun set from a rock face.

Parasailing

Parasailing

Obviously a favorite Caribbean activity (unless you're Dave). Take off right from the resort, and enjoy flying high and taking in the Northern shore landscape. If you hate heights, usually a half bottle of rum will help to convince you it's a good idea.

Sunset Cruise & Snorkling

Sunset Cruise & Snorkling

This is a favorite of ours. After a day at the beach, we walk to the resorts' dock and hop on the party boat. You'll get an opportunity for amazing snorkeling views here, but if thats not your thing you can hang out on the boat, enjoy some reggae music and just enjoy the waves.
