We’re Katy and Dave! We live in Charlotte, NC with our French Bulldog, Zelda. We met when Katy picked up Dave in a bar because he was wearing a cubs hat. Also, WE’RE GETTING MARRIED!! Honestly, if you don’t know us, it’s strange that you made it this far into our wedding webpage...

Where are you two tying the knot?
Answer
Canton, NC which is about 20 minutes west of Asheville.

Are kids invited to the wedding?
Answer
Unfortunately, no. We love your kids very much but will not be able to accommodate them at the ceremony or reception.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Great question! Please send your RSVP in by October 1st. If you don’t, please plan to bring your own chair and perhaps a hot pocket to tide you over for the night.

Is the wedding outdoors?
Answer
Both the ceremony and reception are under cover however there is a 20 foot walk between the locations that will not be covered so bring your umbrella if it calls for rain.

Is parking available at the venue?
Answer
Yes! There are 68 spots in the upper lot which should be plenty for our guests. If for some reason the upper lot is full, overfill parking in the lower lot is available and venue staff will provide a shuttle to the ceremony site.

What is the travel time between the ceremony and reception?
Answer
45 seconds walking, 18 seconds running. They are in the same place.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Can guests take Uber/Lyft to and from the wedding?
Answer
You may be able to get an Uber or Lyft to the wedding however do NOT count on getting one back. The venue is in a rural area. Shuttles to and from the hotel will be provided so you can get a ride from the Holiday Inn.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony starts at 4:30pm so we recommend arriving 30 minutes early because we know you will get lost at least twice on the drive in.

Are pets allowed?
Answer
Only service animals will be allowed. Unless you have an iguana, those things are cool and you should take it everywhere.

Will alcohol be provided?
Answer
Yes, we will have beer and wine during the reception as well as a signature cocktail during cocktail hour.
