Like many modern day couples we met via online dating. We owe our #meetcute to Bumble. On our first date we went to the Good Dog Bar in Philadelphia. Dave knew Julia was a HUGE dog lover and thought the cute dogs on the wall would be the perfect distraction in case the date went horribly wrong. Luckily the dogs on the walls were an added bonus as both of us knew this person was someone special. We went on three dates together before Julia left for a whole month. When she returned Dave was patiently waiting and we picked up right where we left off. It didn't take long for us to fall in love. Our love of music, beer, and sports quickly connected us and before we knew it we were in love with one another (cheesy, I know). While the pandemic was hard on everyone, it is what made the two of us know that our relationship was built on solid ground. If we could survive a pandemic together, then we could survive anything.
