FAQs

We are looking forward to celebrating with you at our wedding on November 20. Please review the information below, including the important safety protocols we will be following during the event. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at daveandaligetfat@gmail.com
Question

WHAT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS ARE YOU TAKING?

Answer

Our venues are requiring proof of full vaccination upon entry, and all guests must provide a copy of their vaccination records. The ceremony and reception are both taking place indoors. We will do our best to ensure guests are comfortably distanced. There will be sanitizing stations in several areas of the venues. Please practice good hand hygiene after touching surfaces and feel free to bring your own hand sanitizer if desired. We ask that if anyone is feeling sick or experiencing any symptoms such as fever, cough, or loss of taste or smell on the day of the wedding, please stay home and we will celebrate with you at a different date in the future.

Question

IS THE RECEPTION IN A DIFFERENT LOCATION THAN THE CEREMONY?

Answer

Yes. The ceremony is taking place at the Princeton University Chapel at 3pm. The reception is being held at the Boathouse at Mercer Lake, beginning at 5pm. Feel free to explore the Princeton campus or downtown before/after the ceremony.

Question

WHAT'S THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

Long dress or nice cocktail dress for the ladies, suit or slacks with a jacket for the men. No sneakers, jeans, etc. Feel free to wear your House colors.

Question

ARE CHILDREN INVITED?

Answer

To allow all guests to relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our special day adults only. We thank you for your understanding.

Question

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION BETWEEN THE HOTEL AND CEREMONY?

Answer

No. Driving or taking an Uber/Lyft is the best way to get between the hotel, ceremony, and reception.

Question

IS THERE PARKING FOR THE CEREMONY?

Answer

Visitors may park in Lot 10 or Lot 13 on William Street. Parking (meters and private garages) can also be found across the street from the main campus along Nassau Street, however, there may be community or University events that could limit the parking available.

Question

IS THERE PARKING FOR THE RECEPTION?

Answer

There is a free, large parking lot at the Boathouse.

Question

WHERE ARE YOU REGISTERED?

Answer

Check out the registry page for our registry with Zola.
