Maid of Honor
Sister of the Bride "Luckily I have known Abby my entire life because she is my older sister. I can always count on Abby for anything I need and to always be my best friend. Abby is the type of person to make conversation and become friends with anyone. Dave brings out Abby's outgoing personality and I can always count on the two of them to make me laugh. As soon as I saw the way Abby and Dave acted around each other, I knew they were meant to be. I am so excited for the big day, to gain another brother and watch my best friend get married!" -Emily

Brother of the Groom "Dave and I met way back in the day. In the year of 1994. The tequila and Mexican American food were flowing as we celebrated Cinco de Mayo. Actually, the tequila and food were not present (unfortunate, I know), and Dave was bored at home with my grandparents waiting for me to be born. That’s right, Dave is my big brother, so we've known each other since the day I was born." -Chris

Friend of the Bride “I met Abby freshman year of college. We met through mutual friends and because I lied to her and told her I played volleyball for the school (don’t ask why). Anyway, we instantly clicked and spent the next 4 years of college inseparable. We soon became sorority sisters, college roommates, and eventually moved to Pittsburgh after graduating where we navigated life as young adults together. I couldn’t ask for a better, more loyal best friend and I can’t wait to stand by her on her big day.” -Natalie

Friend of the Groom "Dave and I met in our fraternity house basement. It was one of my first nights in college and he was wearing a Phillies T fresh off that '08 World Series Championship. We quickly shared stored of our Philly fandom and where we were each from. Things escalated ever so slightly when we found out we went to rival High Schools. The rest is history from living together in multiple homes, multiple cities and even multiple states. We still get together every year on April 17th to celebrate the opening day of tequila season." -Dave

Friend of the Bride “I met Abby the first week of our college freshman year at dance team try outs. We pretty much gravitated to each other right away! We remained friends but we became extremely close when we both pledged Delta Zeta second semester and went through all the fun stuff of pledging together! From being college roomies, sorority sisters, & teammates... I truly couldn’t imagine my life without Abby in it! I am so excited that she found her person in Dave and I am so proud to stand by her on her special day.” -Shannon

Friend of the Bride “I first met Abby during dance team tryouts our freshman year of college and we immediately clicked; however, our friendship really took off when we became sorority sisters and eventually roommates. Abby is the type of friend that you can always count on for anything, whether it be going out to Wood St on a random Wednesday night with you or sitting on the couch and talking for hours. Throughout our college years and the 4 years after, we have made so many memories that I will cherish forever. I am so honored to stand by Abby on her special day!” -Richelle

Friend of the Groom "The question is, where to start? Dave and I started to hang out through mutual friends of ours in high school. Come to find out, we have a lot in common, and had many of the same hobbies (for better and/or worse). Before you knew it, we hung out nonstop. He went off to college, but he always kept in touch. Whenever he came back home, I was one of the first places he stopped. We've had a solid friendship over the years even though he lives out of state. Dave's one of those friends that buys your kids toys that you (as a parent) don't want them to have. I honestly couldn't ask for a better friend to cruise out with in life. Thanks buddy, for always being you."- Chase

Friend of the Bride "Abby and I met in Washington D.C. during our travel nurse assignment at Georgetown University Hospital. We spent many hours together drawing labs, wasting too much Boursin cheese, being actresses in our coworker's nursing blog, and laughing a lot. We instantly connected and she has become such a great friend to me. I love to pretend to be her dog Winston's other mom and I will always be Dave's favorite person to tell how much he dislikes Boston sports teams. They are both such wonderful human beings that deserve the world and lifelong happiness. I cherish the moments we have together, and I am so excited for the two of them!" -Michelle

Brother of the Bride “I met Dave through Abby, who is my wonderful older sister. I am very proud of the person that she is, she would give the skin off of her back for anyone. She is a superhero! Dave and I first met at CALU while I was visiting Abby. They snuck me into the bar and that was the same night Abby and Dave really hit it off. Dave is a great guy and a very caring person. The smile on both of their faces when they see each other, showed me that Dave is definitely the one for Abby. Dave would do anything to protect my sister and I know they both love each other a lot. Dave, you are already like a brother to me, I can’t wait for the wedding day! Its going to be a day we will always remember!”- Alex

Sister of the Groom “I met Abby through her fiancé and my younger brother, David. For years Dave had eluded to dating this mysterious girl in Pittsburgh, but he hadn’t brought her around family. Finally, I was able to meet her when he brought her to my youngest son’s baptism. It didn’t take long for me to realize that Abby was the perfect match for Dave. She brought out the best in him; yet challenged him too. Her smile and openness immediately made me feel like she was part of the family. It’s been nothing but a pleasure to continue to get to know her and to watch my boys get so excited to play with Aunt Abby and Uncle D. I look forward to all of the memories yet to come and can’t wait for the big day!” -Ashley

Brother-In-Law "I met Dave through his older sister, Ashley, who I am proud to call my wife. From the moment we met, I knew Dave would be the life of the party. I've known him to always sat why he thinks the way he does, which usually ends up being pretty funny. Dave is a genuine soul and is forever loyal to his pack. I've had the pleasure of watching his relationship evolve over the past few years with Abby and I can’t wait to see what their future holds together!"- Joe

Friend of the Bride “Freshman year of college seems so long ago. 8 years have passed since I first met Abby. She lived across the hall from me freshman year, and like how every great relationship starts, our first conversation started off with “do you want a drink?” Abby grew from being my neighbor to my best friend within days and that remains true almost a decade later. I’ve been so lucky to have Abby with me through hard times and good times, and it’s an honor to be by her side through one of the best days of her life. We used to spend hours watching proposals/wedding videos on YouTube; discussing how we want our wedding to be and crying at how cute they were. Now, here we are again, but this time we are crying together at your wedding.” -Lien

Friend of the Groom "I first met Dave at a party at CALU. For those of you who haven't heard of Cal, you may know it as Harvard on the Mon. Funny thing is, I don't believe Dave remembers meeting me that night. The TKE brothers weren't so fond of letting me in. Thankfully, we had a mutual friend, who helped get me in the door. However, Dave and I really re-connected after he moved to the DC area. I ran into him, Dave C, and Brendon at a happy hour (big surprise, Dave likes beer). From there, I became close with both Dave's almost immediately. Dave C moved into my house, then Dave S soon thereafter was working for the same company as me, and later took over my lease. Timing usually is not on my side, but I am so grateful it was on that summer afternoon at Tysons Biergarten - prost!" -Chris

Friend of the Bride "I wish I could say exactly where I met Abby, but I am positive it was in a basement in California, PA. We became friends fast, spending the weekends together annoying her neighbors on the floor of her dorm. Her first roommate transferred schools after the first semester, and mine wasn't the best either, so I moved in with her spring semester of our freshmen year. Since then, we became sorority sisters, neighbors, and my weekend vacation home when she lived in Pittsburgh! She's been by my side for so many important moments in my life and I can't wait to stand beside her on her wedding day!" -Kayla

Friend of the Groom "I met Dave through Army ROTC in 2009. We were in the same military year group and he became one of my best friends very quickly. We spent a lot of time together through ROTC, morning physical training, and battalion organization days. Dave and I also majored in criminal justice together at CALU and were in many of the same classes. I later became a member of TKE and became Dave's "Little Brother" in the Fraternity. During our last two years, we spent most of our time together. In my last year at school, my mom passed away and it was one of the hardest times of my life. Dave was there for me no matter what. Since graduation, we still talk daily, and Dave remains one of my best friends. I couldn't ask for a better friend and I am honored to be a part of the wedding"-Joe

Future Sister-In-Law "I met Dave at one of Chris' college parties 6 years ago. Immediately, I pegged him as the bachelor-for-life type. As the years went by, I got to know Dave more at family events. Usually I could find him peer-pressuring Chris to join him in his shenanigans. Often times, I was awkwardly on my own and dateless, or at least my date wasn't coherent. Fast forward a few years to Dave's nephews christening. I was shocked to hear Dave would be bringing a date, a girl named Abby. I knew it had to be serious for him to bring her around family. When I found out Abby was a nurse like me, I was even happier! I knew instantly I'd make a new lifelong friend and Dave would stop stealing my date from me. Somehow Abby was able to tame Dave. She is definitely "the one" for him." -Lexi

Friend of the Groom "Dave and I met our Freshmen year of college in 2008. Our common interest in joining the Army is what initially forged our friendship. Dave and I were Cadets together in the Army ROTC program and we attended basic combat training together at Fort Benning, Georgia in 2010. Our time in the military brought us many shared positive experiences and hardships endured. We were also in many of the same classes together and were both involved in Greek life on campus. We eventually graduated and commissioned as Army Officers together in 2012. In the years since graduation, Dave has remained one of my closest friends and we still speak daily despite the physical distance between us. I am honored to be one of his Groomsmen and am looking forward to more memories to be made."-Dustin

Friend of the Groom “The first time I met Dave was twelve years ago at California University of Pennsylvania's world-renown dining facility, The Goldrush. Dustin, our mutual friend, introduced us. Dave was wearing a tye-dye Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) shirt, sporting an "Obama/Biden 2008" campaign pin attached to his Penguins hat, and looked like mid-90's Adam Sandler from Billy Madison. I don't remember our entire conversation, but he was a cheeky fellow. Over the next four years, we got to know each other pretty well through Army training and the illustrious undergraduate lifestyle. I'm glad we met, and he is one of my best friends to this day.”- Joe
