We met in 2008 as co-workers at Weather Shield. We would talk in passing and then became friends. Eventually we went our separate, ways relationship wise for a year or so, but still remained good friends. In 2010, we started hanging out and talking more and in August 2010 we planned a trip to his hometown, Balsam Lake. We spent the day driving around while he showed me places he played, lived, and then we went to the school that he attended. We walked to the football field and he told me football stories, then to the baseball diamond where more of his stories were shared and just talked or should I say he was talking, we all know that this man of mine likes to talk. He would say things like, "you are great with my kids" and "they absolutely love you." As well as that line, "I am pretty sure I know what the answer is, but will you be my girlfriend?' I actually laughed at him first, because I knew that he was going to ask me that, but he is so long winded that I thought he would never ask. In 2012, we took a trip to my hometown and he got to meet most of my family, which they loved him. We had a blast going from one 4th of July party to the next as well as sightseeing the tall ships and his favorite, Fenway Park. Fast forward to March of 2018, we just paid off our house and we wanted to go celebrate that milestone, little did I know that there was more planned than that. We went to the place where we had our first date, Gillian's (it didn't take me as long to finish my beer this time around). We had dinner and headed out to the parking lot where my life would change again. You were long winded AGAIN, but that same line came out of your mouth, "I am pretty sure I know the answer, but will you marry me? So now here we are getting married and we want all our family and friends, who not only supported us, but have helped us along the way to celebrate our special day! We look forward to seeing you all and hope you are ready for some fun. Love the Bride & Groom
