Riverwalk
The perfect place to take a stroll. Grab a drink at City Winery, or enjoy a meal at RPM Seafood or Pizzeria Portofino- fun fact: they are in the same building where Alex works. It is less than a 10 minute drive or 20 minute walk from the hotel.
Soho House Chicago
Located in the heart of West Loop, where Maddie & Alex reside, Soho House is home to several favorite spots. Enjoy food, cocktails, or afternoon tea at The Allis, or head upstairs for an evening drink at Fox Bar—Maddie's favorite bar in Chicago. You can also book a spa treatment at Cowshed Spa. It’s a 10-minute drive from the hotel.
Texan Taco Bar
Also in the West Loop, Alex and Maddie both frequented here in their single days. This is where we met! It is a 10 minute drive from the hotel.

Located in Gold Coast, sip and explore the five floors of stunning staged rooms. Book a reservation in advance to eat at 3 Arts Club Cafe located inside. It is a 15 minute drive from the hotel.

Millennium Park/the "Bean", Grant Park/Buckingham Fountain, and the Art Institute are all abut a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Eataly is less than a 10 minute drive from the hotel.
Lakefront Trail
This path along Lake Michigan offers stunning views of the water and city skyline. It is a 15 minute walk from the hotel.
Explore the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel
Our wedding venue is in a hotel full of rich history. Free guided tours are available Monday–Friday at 2 pm, and Saturday–Sunday at 11 am. Grab a quick coffee at Fairgrounds (10% off for hotel guests), or a burger at Shake Shack. The hotel has a complimentary Topgolf Swing Suite and a basketball court for guests—just check in with the front desk for access.
