The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. The ceremony will be outdoor, so please dress appropriately for the outdoor weather, as well.
The ceremony will be at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens and the reception will be at Our Lady of Cedars in Fairlawn. There will be a 2.5 hour gap between the ceremony and cocktail hour. Stan Hywet will be able to assist elderly guests to the seating area for the ceremony. All other guests should expect to walk a very short distance from the parking lot to the seating area.
The ceremony will be outdoors. The ceremony location is a short walk from the parking lot, so please wear appropriate shoes for the short distance. The reception will be indoors at a separate venue.
After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures nearby. There will be a 2.5-hour gap between the end of the ceremony and the start of cocktail hour. We will be serving finger foods and beverages during cocktail hour. Here are some suggestions on how to spend the 2.5-hour gap: Freshen up and take a nap in your hotel room or home, grab a drink and/or have a snack at a local restaurant, or check out one of the suggestions on the Things to Do page!
Great question! :) You can RSVP through the invitations that will be mailed in May.
We wish we could invite all of your little ones; however, the cost was a major deciding factor in us choosing not to invite all of the kids in both of our families. There will be some kids at the wedding that the couple has chosen to invite.
