Flight

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)

Reagan National is the closest airport to downtown D.C. and is served by Metro's Yellow and Blue Lines, providing an easy commute into the city. The airport is served by most major airlines including American, Delta, Southwest, and JetBlue.

Train

Amtrak Union Station (WAS)

The bride and groom made regular use of Union Station while dating long-distance between DC and New York. Amtrak is a great way for guests coming from New York, Philadelphia, or even Boston to travel to DC. Union Station has a Metro station directly underneath, which is served by Metro's Red Line. Union Station is also a short walk from both the Kimpton George Hotel and the Liaison Capitol Hill!

Flight

Dulles International Airport (IAD)

Dulles is located in the Virginia suburbs. It is DC's hub for United Airlines, but is served by other carriers, as well. There are buses available to the end of Metro's Silver Line or guests can take a taxi, Super Shuttle, or rental car into the city.

Flight

Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI)

Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) is a bit further away from DC, but connected to Union Station by MARC and Amtrak trains. Simply collect your bags and follow the signs for the shuttle to the BWI Rail Station. The bus will drop you off across the street from the train station. From Union Station, you can board Metro's Red Line, grab a cab or Uber, or rent a car (second level of the train station).

Train

Traveling to District Winery by Metro

Take the Metro Green Line to the Navy Yard Station, exiting at M Street and New Jersey Avenue SE, and District Winery is a short 5 minute walk. Walk south on New Jersey Avenue SE. Take a left on Tingey Street SE. Take a right on 3rd Street SE. Take a left on Water Street SE. District Winery will be on the right hand side. If you end up taking the exit from the Metro that places you at M and Half Streets SE (with a view of the centerfield gate for Nationals Park), simply turn right on M Street SE and walk two blocks to New Jersey Avenue SE. Take a right onto New Jersey Avenue SE and then follow the directions above.
