We're so excited to celebrate with you!!

Dan and Ashley met years ago at church. It was through serving together and being on the worship team where they became good friends. As the years went on, interest started to grow and eventually in the summer of 2015 they met at a coffee shop to DTR. On November 20, 2015 it became official when Dan asked Ashley to be his girlfriend at the Virginia Tech duck pond. On that day, they hiked to see the sunset, ate dino nuggets and drank Mt Dew, and watched Ashley's favorite movie - A Cinderella Story.

Ashley got tickets to a Virginia Tech football game in November and asked Dan if he wanted to go. He declined, saying he had a "guys camping trip" planned in Lynchburg, VA. Instead, Ashley goes to Blacksburg with Din for their first solo adventure! Ashley plans the weekend - farmers market, football game, and a photoshoot with friends. What she doesn't know is that all her friends have been in on the proposal plan for two months. At the football game, the girls leave early to catch golden hour for the photo shoot at the duck pond. After some group shots, they move onto solo pictures and Ashley's up first. Dan, who had been hiding in a bush for 15 minutes, starts sneaking up behind Ashley. Eventually she turns around and sees him on one knee! She said yes!
