We actually met in history class after my friend convinced me to stop sitting at a table across the room and come sit by at there table instead. That’s when I ended up sitting across from McHale. He was really shy and quiet, and I was definitely the talkative one lol, but somehow we instantly clicked and became best friends. We started talking every day after school, during spring break, and honestly all the time. He would always ask me for answers and copy my work, but I guess that’s what best friends are for 😂 Eventually we realized we cared about each other as more than friends, and from that point on we were inseparable. Then COVID happened and we couldn’t see each other anymore, but we still talked every single day and got through online school together. Once we finally got to go on a real date, we went to Kemah Boardwalk.Fast forward 5 years later, McHale told me to go to the store while he stayed home to set up our anniversary movie and pizza night. When I came home, there was a letter on the door that said “Start” with roses leading me through the house to another letter that said “Finish.” At that point I was already crying lol. The roses led me to our room where he was finally down on one knee with my ring. I could barely even hear his speech because I was crying so hard, but of course I said yes 🤍
