Amy grew up in Buffalo New York, loving poetry, art, a good deal of hiking and hanging out with friends, and dreamt of working for Sesame Street. She then headed off to the University of Pittsburgh, where she was deep in the hipster scene of writers, film nerds, musicians and so-bad-they're-good-grandma sweaters. She's since hopped back to Buffalo, starting a career in children's publishing, to Washington D.C., where she got to work in Public Broadcasting, to Harvard Law School, and now Brooklyn, New York. Along the way, she adopted a tiny orange kitten, Niles, who has been at her side ever since. In Brooklyn, she flirted with a cute lawyer named "Dash" who said his favorite sculpture was Michelangelo's David. Dash was born in Brooklyn, NY, but spent only a few years there before his international lifestyle had him growing up in Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Miami, and Puerto Rico. Tiring of warm winters and sandy beaches, Dash spent his college years in Northfield, Minnesota, where he played rugby and practiced his video gaming. Dash moved to New York to continue those pursuits and go to law school, eventually adopting a calico cat named Triona who loved sleeping as much as she loved eating. Dash couldn't stopped thinking about Amy, a beautiful lawyer who wanted to help everyone, be silly, and play dungeons and dragons, with a cat of her own. Amy and Dash now live in Brooklyn, where they spend their time trying to find the perfect bookshelf and watching Niles and Triona learn to play together. When they have time, Amy and Dash love exploring the city, visiting tiki bars, playing board games, and traveling together.
