Question

Can I Bring A Friend?

Answer

We can only accommodate those formally invited. If you received a plus one, it will be noted on the invitation. Please no extra guests.

Question

Are Kids Welcomed?

Answer

While we love your kids, we’ve decided to keep our ceremony and reception an adults-only (18 years of age or older) event. The only exception will be kids included in the wedding party. We hope you understand and encourage you to use this evening as a fun "night out" for yourselves.

Can I Post Pictures Of The Wedding?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos and recording during the ceremony. We ask that all phones be silenced or powered off. We have a photographer that will be capturing all the special moments. You're welcome to take pictures at the reception and post them to social media using our hashtag, #NoPlaceLikeHolmes.

Will There Be Alcoholic Beverages?

Answer

Yes, there will be a CASH bar available during cocktail hour and the reception. The venue has a strict alcohol policy, so please no outside alcohol. We encourage all guests to drink respectfully and responsibly.

What Time Should I Arrive, And Is Parking Available?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:00PM. Please arrive 15-30 minutes early to park and find your seat. Once the ceremony begins, entrance will not be granted until after the ceremony. Parking is available, but if you plan to drink, we strongly encourage using Uber or having a designated driver.

Do You Have A Registry?

Answer

We have a cash registry available. You can find our registry under the “Registry tab”. To avoid processing fees, gifts can also be sent via zelle (Kimberly Jones-kcjones2010@yahoo.com) or Cash App ($kimberlychante or $ShadHolmes31)

Where Is The Reception And Ceremony Taking Place?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will be at the same location (The Gin). The address is 931 Nesbit Rd, Nesbit, MS, 38651. The wedding will be indoors. Cocktail hour will be indoors and outdoors.

What If I Didn't RSVP In Time?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 12, 2025. If we do not receive your RSVP by 7/12/25, it will automatically be marked as "No". We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! Our wedding is semi-formal, and we’re asking all guest to wear black. Black tuxedos, suits, gowns, and cocktail dresses are welcomed. Please refrain from wearing jeans or white/ivory.

What if I marked yes on my RSVP, but I’m no longer able to make it?

Answer

Things happen, and we understand! Please contact our planner at 901-351-6602, and she will update your RSVP if it is passed the 7/12/25 deadline.
