Question

How do we get from Hapuna to Mauna Kea for the wedding?

Answer

Transportation will be provided from Hapuna to the ceremony site (Mauna Kea), and from the ceremony site to the cocktail hour (next to reception site).

What should I wear to the wedding?

Answer

The wedding is a black tie wedding. Appropriate attire is floor length dresses for women and a tuxedo or suit for men.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

Children are absolutely able to attend the Ceremony however we ask to keep the reception Adult Only. Feel free to utilize the cocktail hour to execute your arrangements. (Nanny services are available through the resort or feel free to make your own arrangements).

My significant other was invited and I am their guest, what all can I participate in?

Answer

EVERYTHING!!!! We are looking forward to a week of celebrating and want everyone to be included in everything. There are some activities planned that are guys only and girls only so please RSVP to anything you would like to attend, you are definitely invited and wanted there!!

My significant other is in the wedding, what am I invited to participate in and what should I not join in on?

Answer

We would love to have you participate in everything and join in on everything!! We know what it is like when you don't know many people at a wedding or are sitting by yourself not sure what to do or who to talk to. Come hang out, meet everyone, and become part of the family. <3

Are cell phones allowed at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that all cell phones be put away during the ceremony. Enjoy and live in the moment with us and let the photographers do what they are paid to do. We promise a ton of photos for everyone!! Cocktail hour and receptions phones are more than welcome and we would love to see every silly and ridiculous moment recorded!!

Should I wear heels or flats?

Answer

It is a black tie wedding so heels are welcomed. The ceremony is on grass however the reception is on solid ground. Heel covers will be provided for the ceremony and slipa's (flats) will be provided for guests wanting to change their shoes later in the evening.

When does the Reception end?

Answer

The reception ends at 10pm sharp. We hope to take anyone remaining at the party for a relaxing and unwinding walk down the beach to the fire pits.

Question

When should I book my Flight/Hotel?

Answer

ASAP. There is a room block for our guests however with it being a holiday weekend the resort may fill quickly. Derek and Daryl will be in Hawaii from Tuesday Aug 27th -until Tues Sept 3rd. Please spend as much time as you can with us on the island, there are adventures happening every day and you're invited!!
