So much to do in City Park. On Sunday mornings from 8-12 is Crescent City Farmers Market (one of our favorite places to go). Stop by Cafe Du Monde for coffee and beignets, play putt-putt at City Putt, rent bikes or a swan boat, explore the sculpture garden, visit NOMA, or enjoy the golf course.
Featured in our engagement shoot because we can't stay away from this Italian ice cream parlor. While I stay true and get a chocolate dipped cannoli every time, Daryl has probably tried the whole pastry case. His recommendations are the Baked Alaska, pistachio tart, or the cream puff.
One of the dreamiest restaurants in the city. If you visit be sure to venture to the bar in the back, it's spectacular. They also have a coffee shop inside, though I've never tried it. And as a bonus they do yoga in the Chapel on select mornings for only $10 (I think).
This is one of our favorite restaurants in the city. French, intimate, and delicious.
This is our other favorite restaurant in the city. Italian, good for bigger groups, and delicious! It's inside The Roosevelt, so you can pop over to one of their bars for a night cap after.
Magazine coffee shop that I just love. It's always fun to try their seasonal lattes.
A close neighborhood coffee shop with Greek breakfast items. Their coffee menu comes from Coffee Science, which is one of our guilty pleasure spots on a weekend morning. Get the Venetian Creme.
Best bagels in the city, in my opinion.
