We're Getting Married!

We met on a dating app (Hinge, modern marvel) and decided to meet up for ramen after a few good days of chatting. We met at Tajima in downtown San Diego and had an easy immediate connection, spending much of the date discussing treasure hunting and heist tactics in Red Dead Redemption 2, which had just been released. On the walk to a bar down the street for a post-dinner cocktail, we had our first kiss and it was all over from there.

Adrian was all set to propose on a trip to Jamaica, including having me set up my own candlelit beach proposal dinner (I thought it was for celebrating our birthdays) but the trip ended up going awry due to the pandemic. We ended up in Cancún and he secretly coordinated with the resort room attendants to set up flowers and decorations for when we returned from dinner. It was so unexpected and perfect!
