How many events are there?

Answer

There are two events! First is the Sangeet, which will be hosted on the evening of Friday, December 18th, at the JW Marriott Marquis (noted on the travel page). The second is the wedding day on Saturday, December 19th, consisting of the ceremony, a break, cocktail hour, and the reception. All events on the wedding day will be hosted at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Indian weddings are very festive and colorful so wear bright colors and bold jewelry! It's also typical to change into a fancier outfit for the reception in the evening since it's more of a formal event that the ceremony. Although, we encourage you to wear Indian clothes, American attire is totally acceptable! Guests should not wear red, dark pink, or white.

Is there parking available for the ceremony or reception venues?

Answer

There is parking available at the ceremony venue (Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne). It is priced at approximately $45/day without in and out privileges. However, we will be providing roundtrip transportation from the Hilton Garden Inn and to the wedding venue so parking isn't an issue.

Parking at the JW Marriot Marquis is priced at $58 per day (including tax)
