Darryl and Shantelle first met as teenagers at Baptized Believers Temple in Washington, DC; even then, they were secretly crushing on each other! Both served faithfully at the church—singing in the choir, assisting the Pastor with various duties, and growing in their faith. Also, Darryl becoming junior deacon. After high school, Shantelle went away to college, and life led them on separate paths. They each had children and built their own lives—until destiny brought them back together during a bittersweet moment: the passing of their beloved Pastor. Reconnecting at such a meaningful time, they exchanged numbers, began dating soon after, and the rest is history. Today, Darryl and Shantelle are proud parents to their newborn son, Zaki Nehemiah Williams, who is now 7 months old. They are excited to share this moment with their children: D’Mya, Londyn, Darryl Jr., and Brian Jr. Together, they are building a future grounded in faith, love, and unity.
