Holly and I met through a mutual friend, Mrs. Keysha Wesley-Snead on May 16, 2021. Mrs. Snead and I had been talking about relationships and I told her I wanted to meet someone with similar values. She told me she had a coworker that was single and nice. Little did I know, she was already plotting. She had secretly taken a picture of me to show her. The next day she called and said “I am going to send you a picture , and her name is Holly Joy Hannahs”. When I saw the picture, I said wow she's cute, do you think she would be willing to go on a date with me? Mrs. Snead replied,” Coach , I don't know, you have to call her and have a conversation first”. I placed the first call to her on May 17th and we talked for hours. It went so well and we had so much in common that it wasn’t hard for me to work up enough nerve to ask her out on a date and when I did she said yes. When I laid eyes on her, I was sure it was Love At First Sight!!!. I thank God for Keysha introducing us, and I can't wait until we are officially married and I can call Holly my Beautiful wife!!!!

It feels like yesterday Holly, we were in my classroom talking about how we both wanted a God-sent man in our lives and one year later I became Mrs. Snead and guess what? I knew you were next after the “linebacker” move you made to catch the bouquet at my wedding reception, and here we are, another year later; you're about to say” I do” to the man who stole your heart! That makes me so happy. To my coach, you have spent years thinking and worrying about everyone else, and today is yours. I promise not to say anything about basketball , but tomorrow is a different story.(Smile) I am glad I could be a part of sharing this once- in- a- lifetime love story with the two of you because you both deserve all the happiness life has to offer.
