We already told each other back in high school that we were going to be in each other’s wedding and god mother to our babies. I love the 19 years of friendship that we have and looking forward to many more.

My cousin. We grew up together, being 1 year apart, and being part of “Grandma Phillip’s favorite crew”. Every summer we were like ying and yang, peanut butter and jelly. Being an only child, she made me feel like I wasn’t. From the nights she slept over my house (secretly didn’t want her to because I didn’t like sharing my bed) to the times we would walk to the corner store for grandma, we were, and still are each other’s protectors......then Breana came along, lol.

My cousin. I had so much fun with Breana when we were little, she was my little doll baby. She’s like the sister that you want but then realized at the time it wasn’t a good idea because all attention was on her. I protected her like she was my sister and now she’s grown into a beautiful young woman that I still love dearly.

My friend. I remember the 1st time I met Dania, it was at Marc’s house (best man) and we wore the same color shirt (green, it wasn’t a typical green it was a specific forest green) and I knew right then we would get along. It’s not a lot of people that I meet and have a connection with instantly, she’s one of them. She supported Darrin and I throughout our relationship and I consider her family.

We just look out for each other and we know that friendships are tested but ours will never fail.

Mark a.k.a. T.J., ever since he came into my life a couple of years ago he has been the older brother to look up to in all aspects - musically, personally and professionally. He’s one of the pillars that made me realize that regardless of what my circumstances are, if I truly loved Kim then I’ll make the moves regardless of the situation; so even though I doubted myself and wanted to hold off on marrying this woman of God, he pushed me and said “Doc you can make it just have faith and keep God first”.
