Darrien and I both lived in South Florida for a while before meeting. We were each there to start fresh, and create new lives for ourselves. Little did we know, the life we were meant to create was together! Our paths crossed and we became friends, and then started dating. The rest is history and now This is Eouse!

I felt that something was different, because Darrien was insistent on dinner and he was ironing his shirt. I started to think, "this may be the night". Darrien took me to a local restaurant with a very romantic atmosphere. There was even an accordion, but nothing was being asked . . . I mentioned, I thought he may have had plans for this evening, but was told he did not. We laughed and went about our night. The accordion player, asked what song we'd like to hear, and we began reading the menu. Just when I had given up, Darrien stood and said "You may have been right about something". He got down on one knee and said "I know you didn't want to have dinner, but will you marry me?" And the answer of course, was YES! With all the excitement, I lost my appetite and we had to leave the restaurant. We celebrated with Darrien's sisters and later ordered pizza.
