Our first time meeting wasn't conventional in any way. For my junior prom I went with two of my best friends, Anna and Micky. I ended up having a medical emergency and at 2am there wasn't many people we could call so Anna thought to call her childhood friend Darrian. He ended up taking me to the hospital and after that night thats the only boy I could think of. I bugged Anna to bring him around again and once she did we were inseparable all summer, which led to him asking me to be his girlfriend in September 2021. Four years later December 2025 Darrian proposed, it was a dream come true. From the emergency room to forever, we truly believe we met at exactly the right time. We can't wait for October 16th to begin this next chapter and celebrate the start of our marriage surrounded by the family and friends who have walked alongside us. The day I said "yes" will always be one of our favorites - but we're even more excited for the day we say "I do".
