Get an edumacation on the pinelands from The Pinelands Preservation Alliance. They have trails and a native plant garden.
This is for the nature buffs. Go kayaking and explore the pine barrens with these guys! They give you kayaks, canoes, equipment, etc. and a path through the barrens where they do drop off and pick up. The kids'll love it. You'll see all kinds of animals and wilderness.
