We're getting married!

Ava and Darren met while Darren's family was RVing at Ava's family campground on July 23, 2022. While hanging out around the pool, they felt an instant connection, like they had known each other their entire lives. They kept in touch, and a couple of months later, in September 2022, they officially started dating! Friends and family could immediately see the love they shared; it was obvious they were a match made in heaven. From there, the two enjoyed many movie dates, Sundays at church, fast food runs, and time spent with family. Fast forward to August 2025, Ava moved to Charlotte, NC, for cosmetology school, and Darren soon followed to pursue welding. They navigated a new city and a new season of life side by side, building friendships and meeting some of their favorite people along the way. After returning home, they prioritized each other as life became busier with new jobs, commutes, and all the responsibilities of “adulting.” Now, as an engaged couple, they are more in love than ever and cannot wait to build a life together centered around God. The couple would like to thank everyone who has supported them along the way!
