We're Getting Married!!

In July 2024, Audrey was working as a police dispatcher when her future maid of honor, Lana, came to observe the job and see how everything worked behind the scenes. Not long after, Lana invited Audrey to hang out with her friend group and “spill some tea” (IYKYK). That night would end up changing everything. While everyone was hanging out together, Darren joined the group. Later that evening, everyone went for a walk on the Ephrata Rail Trail, where Audrey and Darren instantly connected. They spent the night talking, sharing stories, laughing, and getting to know each other. By the end of the night, they had exchanged contact information and already planned to see each other again. After spending a few weeks together, the two were walking on a local trail when Darren officially asked Audrey on their first date. On August 21, 2024, they went to see Inside Out 2 before having dinner at Fiorentino’s. After dessert, Darren asked Audrey to be his girlfriend, and from that moment on, they became inseparable. Their love story moved quickly in the best way possible. About seven months later, in March 2025, they moved in together, and in May 2025, they found out they were expecting a baby. The rest of the year was filled with exciting milestones — discovering they were having a baby boy, moving into a new home, and welcoming their son, Colton, in December 2025. After Colton was born, Audrey had a feeling a proposal was coming soon. In April, Darren planned a double date with Lana and Chris that included an escape room. After finishing the room in about 45 minutes, another door opened unexpectedly. As they stepped through, a video began playing featuring Darren and Colton, while one of Audrey’s favorite songs played in the background. Audrey turned around to find Darren down on one knee. It was the easiest “yes” ever. Now, as they begin this exciting new chapter together, Audrey and Darren cannot wait to spend the rest of their lives together alongside their growing family.
