It's wedding time!

Her: It was the new year of 2016. I had recently fallen out of another relationship and my girlfriend wanted to get me out of the house. One of her friends was hosting a birthday party, so the plan was to go out, drink, and have a nice night out. We hopped on Facebook, stalked to see if there we're any cute guys, and quickly came to the conclusion that we'd probably have to look elsewhere. Until we got there, and he opened the door... --------- Him: The party was just getting started and the birthday girl was busy entertaining her friends. I thought I would help out by greeting people at the door, meeting a number of random people I'd never seen before. After a bunch of "welcome"s and "heyy welcome"s, everyone had finally arrived. I smiled, told myself I did a great job, and went back to join the party. --------- Her: WOW this guy is cute... We had stalked him earlier, but he looked so goofy and fobby in his graduation profile picture. Is he the one?! "Hi I'm Catherine 🥺" "Heyy welcome. I'm Darren." And with that introduction, we were quickly wisked away to the back to join the rest of the party. So much for first impressions. --------- Him: Later that night, my friend was bragging how he was "so" good at beer pong. Ha! I went to school at SC, it was time to put him in his place. I glanced around to look for someone to team up with, and there she stood... This gorgeous girl dressed in a tight leather jacket. How did I ever miss her come in?! And so, I walked up and asked her to be my partner. --------- Us: And thats how we met! 5 years later, as we're reminiscing this story, we're happily engaged, living in Chicago for the time being, and waiting on the next chapter of our lives. We're honestly so excited to celebrate our upcoming wedding with all of our beloved friends and family. We love yall, and can't wait to see you all soon!
