FAQs

Question

What about Covid?

Answer

For now, we are planning on proceeding like normal with the wedding but we are highly recommending vaccinations and/or masks. If you decide you cannot make it please update your RSVP on our website at any time! If we do need to cancel, we let everyone know as soon as possible.

Question

What does an Unplugged Ceremony mean?

Answer

We ask that you do not take out your cellphones or cameras during our ceremony. We hired a photography for this reason and we want to ensure that our ceremony pictures are as perfect as the day. You may take as many pictures as you want once the ceremony is over.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Semi-formal with any color. Kids under 12 may wear a costume, everyone else please dress accordingly.

Question

What is the weather like around this time of year?

Answer

Texas can be a little bit unpredictable. Halloween can be warm and then get to be a little bit chilly as day goes on. I would err on the side of caution and bring a light or small jacket.

Question

Is there ceremony and reception inside or outside?

Answer

If the weather is nice, the ceremony will be outside while the reception will be an inside/outside feel.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures for about an hour. During that time, guest will head into the reception area where there will be drinks.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Parking is free. Please park in front of the venue, there will be signs to guide you.

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Of course! We will be having grilled chicken with a cream sauce with sides of vegetables, roasted potatoes, and a mixed green salad. There will also be rolls, tea, and water available.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes! We encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #enchantedhallowedding so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
