Sometimes the best stories begin when you least expect them. What started as a simple introduction quickly turned into something neither of us could ignore. After a few dates, it became clear how much we had in common — a shared love for family and friends, the same hopes for the future, and even a shared Portuguese heritage (though Tanya admits the red hair had her questioning that at first). From the beginning, there was something different. Brandon liked Tanya so much that he wasn’t quite ready to tell his family they were “dating” — instead, it was always “we’re having dinner together.” That hesitation didn’t last long, and on January 25, 2024, Brandon made it official. Since then, we’ve filled our time with weekend getaways, concerts, discovering new places together and creating the best memories along the way. 2025 became a year we’ll never forget. In March, we traveled to Aruba — a place that quickly became our favorite. In June, we bought our first home together and began turning it into our own. In July, Brandon proposed at one of Tanya's favorite spots for an espresso martini, catching her by surprise with an edible picture of the two on top. The celebration continued and Brandon surprised Tanya with an engagement party surrounded by close family and friends. We capped off the summer with our first cruise together in August, where we also captured our engagement photos when returning to Aruba. We are so excited to continue building our life side by side and feel incredibly grateful to celebrate this next chapter with the people we love most. We can’t wait to make even more memories — starting with our wedding day, with you there.
