We met working together on a potato farm in Windsor, South Carolina in 2019. We both have bachelor's degrees in agriculture and came to the farm through internships in different years. When we met, we hit it off right away. We have been farming ~together~ ever since.

We were spending the weekend with Zachary's family celebrating Memorial Day at a beautiful lake house overlooking Lake Chatuge in Hiawassee, Georgia. Everyone got dressed up to take "family photos" on the deck and after a few group shots, I stepped away to take a photo for Zachary's sister, Sarah. When I turned back around, my favorite song was playing, and Zachary was stumbling on to one knee in front of everyone! Easiest yes ever! We can't wait to celebrate with you all.
