Free Estes Park Trolley
There are free shuttles that take you all over Estes Park. You can find a copy of the map at the Estes Park Visitor's Center, or call (970) 577-9900 for more information
Rocky Mountain National Park
A truly marvelous National Park, offering endless hikes for all skill levels. Fly Fishing Trips + Rentals
The wedding will be right along the Big Thompson River and fly fishing is a common activity for guests (just not during the ceremony or dinner, please). In fact, during our visit to the venue in June 2021, we saw a handful of trout! Kirk Flyshop is a fly fishing rental store, right in downtown Estes that can get you all set-up to live out your "gone fishin'" dreams. They also offer full-on expeditions, if you really want to reel in something impressive.
The Stanley Hotel
The Stanley is famous for its role in Stephen King's 1977 bestselling novel 'The Shining' as well as Dumb and Dumber (not sure which is spookier). They offer haunted tours, have a snazzy whiskey bar, and a boast stunning views!
Lake Estes Marina
Rent stand-up paddle boards, kayaks, paddle boats, and more! Not confident in your "sea legs", they rent bikes as well....and you can always take a peaceful stroll around the lake.
Trail Ridge Road
At 12,000 feet above sea level, Trail Ridge Road is the highest continuous paved road in the United States and a truly spectacular drive through the Rocky Mountain tundra. It's unlike anything you have ever seen. PLEASE NOTE - DO NOT go up to Trail Ridge within your first 24 hours of being in Colorado to avoid altitude sickness...and be sure to drink lots of water before you do go up!
Estes Park Aerial Tramway
Enjoy a ride to the summit of Prospect Mountain. Once there, soak up the panoramic views, enjoy the hiking trails, and munch at the cafe.
Mustang Mountain Coaster
Nothing says Colorado like an "alpine slide" (aka summer taboggan)! Marvel at the mountain views while you slide down the track!
Coffee on the Rocks
Good coffee and outstanding scenery! Right along the river and a pond, there is ample seating (as well as an ample amount of ducks to feed).

Roll into your day with a GIANT cinnamon roll or pecan bun from Cinnamon's! Located in a super quaint little house, there is often a line...but we assure you that those buns are worth the wait!
