These two are now sisters from another mister. Her skills include: baking, a mastery of budgeting and planning, and being an undercover badass.

He is like a son to Garrett and has been voted by America to be the sweetest little angel baby there ever was in the history of angel babies. He is a true blessing and is growing into an exceptional man. His skills include: gnar gnar surfing, being a perfect lil angel baby, and a future tennis pro.
Madai Herrera
Matron of Honor
Darlene was nine years old when her sister was born. As the older sister she was expected to take care of Madai, which included taking her along when she went out with friends. Darlene was annoyed by this rule because at the time she did not realize this would bring them closer together. Her skills include: being the greatest hype-woman, having a free spirit, and willingness to put hands on anyone that messes with her family.

He is like a big brother in that he is literally Garrett's big brother. The story of their family being united in 2005 is incredibly touching, you should ask him about it. He is a wonderful brother and an even better human being. His skills include: award winning acting, a fake sounding Southern accent, and a world class singing voice.
Vicente Sauceda

Vincent hit Darlene with the door during their first dorm meeting (he was late!) and felt so bad that he sat next to her and while chatting discovered they both share Salvadoran roots, they found a sense of comfort in one another; they are like long lost siblings. His skills include: being Gordon Ramsey in the kitchen (get out of his way!), maps expert, and being forever 26 years old.
Edwin Benton

Being teammates in little league baseball, he is the person Garrett's known longest on earth (other than Mama Kirby). Edwin is an incredible businessman and, despite that, would do anything in his power to take care of the people he loves. His skills include: future Fortune 500 level leadership, being thicc, and unearned confidence in his own ability to freestyle rap.
Jennifer Boicic

La Jenny was Darlene's first college roommate and the best person to have epic conversations with about any topic but if you want good career advice, she’s your gal! Darlene's money is on Jenny becoming the first to own a yacht in her friend group. Her skills include: exceptional people skills, being insightful, and having boss level energy in all situations.
Patrick Nolen

Since they met in Junior High School, they have roasted each other endlessly and he has gotten Garrett the drunkest he's ever been. They've been there for each other through the highest highs and the lowest lows. His skills include: dense pectorals, video gaming like a teenager, and selflessly cooking for his loved ones.
Janet McFadden

Friends since high school, Darlene saw a kindred spirit in her and the two became friends even though Janet was a grade ahead. While attending colleges across the country the two exchanged some epic catch up e-mails and calls and have stayed close despite the distance. Her skills include: Encyclopedic knowledge about everything, supportive but not afraid to be the voice of reason, and being multilingual (we don't even remember how many languages she speaks because it's a lot!)
Joseph Herrera

The first time they met, Joe "big timed" Garrett in the back hallways of the LA Improv Festival. Once forgiven, Joe proved to be one of the most genuine, considerate, and collaborative friends in Garrett's life. His skills include: insanely obscure film trivia, unmatched discipline with food/drinks he deems unhealthy, and generosity with his marijuana.

We are all probably here because she encouraged Darlene to meet Garrett on a last minute date after work. Rachel has seen the couple grow since day one and is a great friend to both. Her skills include: photography, being effervescence personified, and going above and beyond the call of duty.

They became besties in fourth grade immediately after "the puking incident" and they never looked back. They've done everything from working to ministry to playing sports together and Jarrod is literally the only person that Garrett has never had an argument with. His skills include: buckets from outside the arc, topflight pilaf, and the lengthiest story teller ever.

These two met in High School and bonded over their love of Linkin Park and rom coms, they could be found hanging out in their school armory by the snack machines. As much as he was a good influence on Darlene he also was the first person with whom she skipped school. His special skills include: giving the best bear hugs, being a great single dad and not liking rap.
Nicole Reeves

They met working at church, so naturally they've built a deep friendship through drunken adventures and unholy gossip. They have supported each other through some really rough patches and celebrated a myriad of successes, mostly via fourth attempts at FaceTime calls. Skills include: a doctorate in White Russian mixology, unmatched drive and work ethic, and the greatest laugh in the continental United States.

Ramiro and Darlene's friendship flourished thanks to their love of dancing (illegally at their local college bar), an affinity for pop culture, movies and music and are often made fun of for their wide range in taste. His special skills include: master of the punny joke, expert-level accounting skills, and perfecting the arms-wide-open pose.

They met at a horrible job in their early 20's and bonded over their love of puka shell necklaces. Frank looks like a giant handsome monster but is one of the kindest human beings anybody has ever met. His skills include: adventurous nonchalance, legendary sound engineering, and powerfully derailing fist fights.

She was Garrett's friend first but when she and Darlene met the sparks flew! The are bound by their love of terrible romcoms, food, and fighting the patriarchy! Her specials skills include: Being the chillest bride in the history of the universe, being a fashionista, and an exquisite palate.

They met because Garrett maliciously stole the woman Josh had a crush on at work. His loyalty is genuinely inspiring but that may be because he's a horrible judge of character or something. His skills include: quarterbacking kinda, impressively horrible grammar, and unfortunately being a...Crossfit TikTok Influencer. Barf.
Nebyou Berhe
Officiant
A friend to all he meets, Nebyou is the kindest soul that both bride and groom have ever met. He is specially qualified for his role as officiant having "allegedly" been voted funniest in High School, much to Garrett's chagrin. His skills include: chill level 1000, professional video production, and being the sound department and forgetting the sound equipment.
