We’re getting married!

We met through Derek's best friend, Esteban. Esteban and I went to UMHB together and I casually met Derek through him way back in 2011-12. We never really hung out until after graduation when I would go visit Esteban and his now wife, Lauren. It wasn't until Esteban and Lauren got engaged and named their Best Man and Maid of Honor, Derek and me. We did so many things together for months due to their engagement and through this we grew a fondness for each other. Finally after many months of growing closer, he asked me to be his girlfriend. The rest is history and we are so excited to spend the rest of our lives with one another.

We took a road trip to California last summer with a few of our friends. We traveled to the Red Woods, and camped in southern Oregon. One morning we all got up to watch the sunrise over the lake and drove out with Moki in tow to a nearby waterfall hiking trail. It was there at the waterfall, with my best friends and dog that he asked me to marry him!
