We're getting married!

Darius and Maddy met Freshman year at American University in Washington DC. They had a class together, where Darius shamelessly pursued Maddy. After rejecting him for a semester, she finally decided to give him a chance - and she's glad she did. They had a strong connection from the moment they met, and after a four year hiatus while living on separate coasts, they reconnected in 2016 and have been together ever since. They're so excited to finally tie the knot after 10 years!

Miami has always been a fun destination for Maddy and Darius to unwind and have a great time. It's also the place where Maddy lost...and found...her engagement ring two weeks post-engagement on the beach (a story for another time) so it has a special (and scarring) place in their hearts. They recently lived in Miami for 3 months with Darius's sister, Roxanna, and grew to love the lively city and the Faena Hotel even more.
