A season of Growth

Through friends we were urged to talk, neither of us thinking anything of it considered it. After talking we clicked(not expected) over time the conversation grew longer. Great vibes instantly

Like all young people we disagree. With two different opinions and neither one of us wavering..we couldn’t see eye to eye, but ALWAYS kept a clear thought of the situation. With Darius relocating to KY..the conversation diminished.

Reaching out via social media, we reconnected. Although in different states made plans to meet and go out.

This was not your ordinary proposal I’ve always asked the question “Would you marry me” and she always said no..but this one night I asked there was a different answer. She replied “Yeah let’s go to the courthouse tomorrow” I honestly thought she was joking but she was so serious. I honestly didn’t expect this!

I wanted her fathers approval despite her willingness to just do it. So upon returning home from visiting her home state Alabama, her father stopped me and said “You got my blessings with everything” this was such an relief. The beginning of My best life was to come.
