We tied the knot surrounded by immediate family on October 10, 2020 and we are happy you joined us virtually. This past year we have enjoyed living our life as husband and wife. We have learned so much from each other and have grown so much. Now that COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, we want to celebrate our wedding as well as our 1 year anniversary with you. Our Love story began in 2014 when we met at San Antonio Elementary. Darius was a brand new long term substitute teacher and Crystal was an Instructional Aid in one of the classrooms at the school. Upon Darius' first day at the school, he noticed Crystal in the front office with flowers and a Happy Birthday pin. His first words to her were "oh its your birthday?? Happy birthday!". Crystal looked like "who the heck is this guy", but not wanting to be rude, said "Yes it is, thank you.". That was the beginning of many more encounters to come as Darius had made up his mind that he wanted to know more about this gorgeous woman. From that point on, everytime Crystal would be in the staff lounge, surprisingly, so would Darius, having to "supposedly" make copies. Come to find out, this was all apart of Darius' master plan. The way his classroom was positioned, he could see Crystal's classroom, so everytime she left to go to the office, he took it as a chance to grab random papers to go to the office as well to make it look as if he had so many copies to make. Creepy much? At last, one day Crystal began to take notice of Darius and how often they seemed to run into one another. He was always so charming and sweet every time he came around her, and one day he shot his shot and asked Crystal to go to lunch with him. It worked! She said yes to Thai food and we've been eating together ever since. Thank God for random copies and persistent men.
