Question
How do I book my flights and accomodation?
Answer
There is a 'Travel' tab on the website which will have links for booking your accommodations and flights. Don't forget to enter in our group promo code for the discounted rate when booking with Finest Resort (please message either Darius or Chanelle for the code). Both flight and accommodations will need to be booked separately. Our flight and accommodation dates are from August 30, 2025 to September 6, 2025. Different flight dates can be accommodated by our travel agent or you can book on your own as well.

Where will the wedding be located?
Answer
The wedding will be at Finest Playa Mujeres which is a resort located 38 minutes away from Cancun International Airport.

What time should I arrive for the wedding ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start at 5:00 pm. We recommend that you arrive earlier to make sure everyone is seated on time.

How will I get from the airport to the resort?
Answer
Free airport transfer includes 1 private round-trip transportation per room reservation (all guests in each room reservation must arrive and leave at the same time). Transportation Service must be programmed directly through Seasons Tours at: transfers@seasonstours.com. Please provide them your Booking Number. Departure: The recommended pick-up time is 3 hours before departure flight time, please be ready in the lobby 10 minutes in advance.

When do I need to book the accomodations by?
Answer
We recommend all guests to book their suites as soon as possible as there is no room block. All suites are subject to availability and booking late may result in not getting your desired room or rate.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will take place outdoors, with coverage provided by a large palapa and gazebo.

Will there be food or drinks at cocktail hour?
Answer
After the wedding ceremony there will be hor d’oeuvres and an open bar for an hour prior to the reception.

What is the dress code for guests at the wedding?
Answer
Beach Formal For The Ladies (wear a pastel colour): Mini, Midi or Maxi Dress, Formal Jumpsuit, Dress Pants, Blouse, Wedge, Heel, Formal Sandal, etc. For The Gentlemen: Shor t or Long Sleeve Button Down, Collared Shirt, Linen Pants, Slacks, Suit Pants and/or Jacket, Formal Sandal, Dress Shoe, etc. Please don't wear the following: Jeans, Shorts, Flip-Flops

Is there a dress code for the restaurants at Finest?
Answer
Some restaurants at the resort are strict about the dress code. You can check each restaurant's dress code by visiting the website.

What do I need to pack?
Answer
- Valid passport - Transportation and hotel information - Tip money in small bills for staff (1's, 5's, 10's) (USD is fine) - Attire for the dress codes - Sunscreen and bug spray - Medication (ibuprofen, tums, antacids, imodium, antihistamines, electrolytes, bandaids) - Straws (if you want as the resort does not use them) - Wedding and resort attire Forgot Something? There is a gift shop inside the resort, but beware - prices are high! (Example: up to $40 for one can of sunscreen).

How do the restaurant bookings work?
Answer
Restaurants do not take reservations and are first come, first served but for the hibachi rooms at Shoji, a reservation is required.

What time is check-in at the resort?
Answer
Resort check-in is 3:00 PM. If arriving prior to 3, they will hold your bags and deliver them to your room when it is ready. We recommend packing a separate bag for your items you'd like to keep with you (swimsuit, sunscreen, etc.) until your room is ready as all amenities can be enjoyed as soon as you arrive.

What's included in our rooms?
Answer
All rooms include 5 full-sized wine and liquor bottles above the mini fridge along with snacks and drinks in the mini-fridge which are included and restocked daily. There is a safe in each room so please ensure all valuables (passports, money, jewelry) are locked up.

Can I drink the water at the resort?
Answer
The drinking water and ice at the resort are filtered and there shouldn't be an issue consuming anything you are served, but do be cautious about drinking out of the sink or shower. There's also bottled water in your suite fridge (restocked daily).

What is the schedule for the wedding?
Answer
The ceremony will begin at 5:00 PM. Please meet 30 minutes before at the Golden Bar (located in the main lobby), and our wedding coordinator, Sergio, will lead you to the ceremony location. After the ceremony, photos will be taken. Once you’ve finished your photos, feel free to head back to the Golden Bar to relax and refresh. At 10 minutes to 6:00 PM, Sergio will guide everyone to the cocktail area. Cocktail hour will take place from 6:00 - 7:00 PM, followed by the reception from 7:00 - 11:00 PM.
