Being 3days apart has always made our bond stronger. Through the good, bad and ugly I'm so happy i can always call/text my friend/sister for advice, a good laugh or just a down right Taurus moment 🙊...only Mandy and Breana can understand those moments. Although young when we met there was a distinct light on her that defined her wisdom and kind heart. She is my ace 100 fold and I don’t regrets a memory good bad tears and sad that er have shared together . She is the true definition of one of my “glowup” SiStars and I wouldn’t trade her for the world . I am so glad to be able to participate in the display of black love for #GoinGlover2020. I have watched both of them love, support and grow spiritually with each other and the best is yet to come.

Amanda and I met my freshman year of college in Spanish Class. We bonded over our love for music and fashion. We became very close as the years progressed and Amanda became my big sister! She was one of my first adult friendships and from her I’ve learned what it means to have a loyal, supportive and loving friend. I met Darius at an AAU basketball tournement in 8th grade. Our teams played against one another twice in the tournament with my team winning both games. Our coach liked the way Darius played and talked him into playing with us at the next tournament. From the 1st time we played together we formed a bond that has never been broken. Many games, practices, days in school, rides to school, years in college, roommates in college, and many years later im still bless to call him my best friend and brother. Im happy to be apart of this special day and happy to gain a new sister. Im proud of you both💯

So me and Darius met as competitors. I played for a team in Minnesota called the Hustlers, he played for the Chicago CourtMasters. We played against Darius team that spring. The next year I would return back to my hometown and we would team up at Westinghouse HS where the rest became history. Coming from Westinghouse we formed a brotherhood. No need for a fraternity cause we had our own. From day one me and Glove always had a brotherly relationship. We would fight/argue, laugh, and cry. But we always had each other’s back. My man 💯 grand!!!

At first we was just coworkers and then over time we became brothers. The long days at JTDC turning into early mornings at the waterhole. Now i have someone that will always have a ear to share and tell me when I’m right or wrong. I know one thing you gonna stop grabbing me! we gonna fight we not kids anymore 😆

Often times changing new jobs and seasons in your life brings you to meet people that you never even knew you needed or would make an impact in your life. I happen to know both the bride and groom and can say that starting a job at JTDC 6 years ago allowed me to meet Glover and create a respecting brotherhood that then transition into me watching him meet and love his soul met. I am excited to be participating in this journey with them and making a impact in history with their unique contribution to Black love. I hope to find the love, support and display of friendship they share one day
